Sarcolytic was forged in late 2003, as a side project of Images Of Violence members and Ricky Myers of Disgorge. They wrote and released a 3 song e.p. on Lecerated Enemy Records in 2004,and released 2 songs on the Ossuary Industries Records 4 way split entitled “limb splitter” alongside Devourment, Godless Truth, and Steven Watkin’s project, Sect Of Execration, in 2006 Ricky since moved to Texas, where Jon, Steven, and Mark reside, and Sarcolytic has become a full time project. Sarcolytic are now new found members of the Unique Leader family and look forward to what the future holds with the backing of this Death Metal powerhouse.
